Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Americana Grills!

You’re in luck! Americana Grills is back with St. Patrick’s Day grilling recipes. The Irish themed grilling menu takes some of your favorite Irish dishes to the grill. 

St. Patrick’s Day is the holiday that gives you the light at the end of the tunnel that Grilling Season is coming. Americana Grills has the menu that’s going to help set the tone for this Spring holiday.

Make sure you’re prepared for grilling with an Americana Grill or Smoker. If you don’t have an Americana Grill, it’s time for you to taste the Americana difference. Now, let’s get to the food!

St. Patrick’s Day Menu:


Ingredients


 2 rib-eye steaks (8 ounces/225 g. each)

4 ounces/120 mL Guinness Stout Beer (room temperature)

2 garlic cloves

2 tablespoons/30 mL soy sauce

1 tablespoon/15 mL onions

1 teaspoon/5 mL shallots

1 teaspoon/5 mL Worcestershire sauce  

1 teaspoon/5 mL Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon/5 mL fresh tarragon 

1/2 teaspoon/2.5 mL dried parsley

1/2 teaspoon/2.5 mL black pepper

1/2 teaspoon/2.5 mL salt

Instructions


Finely chop garlic, shallot, and onion and place in a small bowl.

Finely chop parsley and tarragon and add to the bowl.

Add the Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, Guinness beer, soy sauce, and seasonings, then mix well to combine.

Let stand for 30 minutes to blend flavors.

Make sure steaks are well coated. Seal bag and place into the refrigerator for 2 to 8 hours.

 Place steak onto the grill and cook for 6 to 8 minutes per side, or until it has reached the desired doneness.


Ingredients


4 large Idaho or russet potatoes, cut into wedges

1 tsp. kosher salt

1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper

2 tbsp. garlic powder

1/2 c. extra-virgin olive oil

2 tbsp. chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley)

Instructions


Bring a well-salted pot of water to a boil, then add the potatoes and cook until al dente, about 10 minutes. Drain and let cool slightly.

In a large bowl, mix salt, pepper, and garlic powder, then stir in olive oil. Add potatoes and toss gently to coat.

Grill potatoes, flipping once, until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
